PUTRAJAYA, 9 April - Pharmaceutical Associaiton of Malaysia, represented by its President, Chin Keat Chyuan contributed 50,000 pieces of face masks for front liners to Minister of Special Functions, Datuk Seri Mohd Redzuan Md Yusof at the National Disaster Management Agency (NADMA)

 

The Pharmaceutical Association of Malaysia (PhAMA) today handed over 50,000 surgical masks to the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Special Functions) Dato’ Seri Mohd Redzuan Yusof.

The contribution was made in response to the very significant efforts by the government, to address the on-going Covid-19 pandemic.

The masks will be distributed to our frontliners in the health service and the security forces, by the National Disaster Management Agency (NADMA).

PhAMA is committed to continuing to partner with the Malaysian government in fighting the COVID-19 outbreak. We are in continuing dialog with the Malaysian government to better understand how we build on our ongoing partnership.

PhAMA’s priority at this stage is to support the government to battle the on-going pandemic, while working hard to ensure a continuing supply of innovative medicines and vaccines for all Malaysians.

We are touched by the selfless act of our healthcare and security personnel, including the thousands of retired nurses who have signed up to return to service.

PhAMA looks forward to building on our on-going dialog with the government and stands united with the government, in our fight against COVID-19.
