Our
Objectives
-
To contribute towards better healthcare for all Malaysians by
promoting accessibility to quality,
cost-effective pharmaceutical products.

To encourage all phases of research, development and manufacturing
of pharmaceutical products in Malaysia.

To liaise with and encourage the co-operation of all allied healthcare
organisations and government institutions for the enhancement
of health standards in Malaysia.
- To
encourage responsible self-medication and increasing consumer
awareness for quality use of pharmaceuticals via consumer education
in Malaysia.
- To
promote a positive view of the industry's role, motives and performance
through effective dialogues and communications with consumer influencers
and the government sector.
- To
encourage the provision of adequate manpower for the pharmaceutical
industry and to upgrade the skills and knowledge of the industry
workforce especially the medical representatives.
- To
monitor and encourage compliance with a set of Code of Conduct
for regulating the ethical behaviour of members in trade and marketing
practices.
